What Building the Great Pyramid Would Have Required

The conventional explanation fails to close.

The boxed canyon holds every narrative to the same standard as the model: the rules of physics. A method can change, but it cannot delete both a function and the burden that function carries. The burden must still be satisfied.

How to read these pages

How to read the evidence

Each page shows what the sources report, what the model assumes, what it calculates, and what work remains unresolved. A number taken from a historical record is not the same as a number chosen for a test. Readers should be able to tell the difference.

Follow the source

Use the source references and technical details to see where an input came from and what the calculation does with it.

Test the assumption

A different value must receive its actual effect. Check what improves, what becomes more demanding, and which findings remain unchanged.

Keep the work in the calculation

A job still has to be done even when no reliable estimate has been entered for it. Leaving it out of a total does not supply the workers or materials, or show how it could have been completed.

Replacement test

Changing the method does not erase the requirement.

A different method may reduce an existing requirement. It must also account for the work it would have created: construction, operation, maintenance, materials, people, and support. Compare complete methods, not a benefit from one method with the costs left behind in another.
